Skills-Building Seminars Terms

The objective is to provide venues for sharing of specific skills or strategies among participants who will be able to apply these to their own work and settings. This events organized on various themes designed  to strengthen activities  of the epidemic at  the regional level. Themes of the seminars have to reflect the main   challenges in combating HIV/AIDS epidemic.

The total number of seminars to be held  at the Conference is 10.

Seminar- is not commercial event, it is free of charge, but trainers will have to pay registration fee. These sessions will be able to accommodate up to 150 participants. Simultaneous translation will be available at additional cost.

Topics for the seminars:

  1. HIV/AIDS epidemiology and measures to respond
  2. HIV/AIDS prevention
  3. HIV/AIDS testing

Criteria of the seminar selection:

  1. Accordance with the Conference theme
  2. Accordance with the Conference theme
  3. Quality of the training materials  
  4. Skills  gained as a result of the seminar
