Zero draft 2016 Political Declaration released ahead of High-Level Meeting on Ending AIDS
The co-facilitators of the 2016 United Nations General Assembly High-Level Meeting on Ending AIDS, Patricia Mwaba Kasese-Bota, Permanent Representative of Zambia to the United Nations, and Jürg Lauber, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the United Nations, have released the zero draft of the 2016 Political Declaration: on the Fast-Track to end AIDS in the age of sustainable development.
Calls for better access to testing and treatment at the Fifth Conference

Janssen Sciences Ireland UC (Janssen) formalized its collaboration with ViiV Healthcare on phase III development and commercialization of a two drug regimen of two long acting, all-injectable formulations of rilpivirine (a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor by Janssen) and cabotegravir (ViiV Healthcare).

EECAAC-2016 Program Committee meeting held in Moscow
Moscow, October 6, 2015 – EECAAC-2016 Second Program Committee meeting took place in Moscow on October 1-2. The event brought together policy makers, researchers and clinicians, representatives of the civil society from the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region and international organizations.
